Verified AB has set out to harness theoretical knowledge within the field of forensic linguistics, alongside hands-on experience and innate skills to help migration authorities, the police, and other organisations and parties solve practical problems and find useful answers. Our main tool for that purpose is LOID (Linguistic Origin IDentification).

We are Verified AB, located in Sweden and active in the field of forensic linguistics since 2004, specialising particularly in dialect attribution. Our mission is to help migration authorities, the police and other organisations and parties clarify a person’s linguistic background by analysing the latter’s use of language.

LOID
LOID pertains to that branch of biometrics concerned with profiling (as opposed to identification).
Active Competence
Verified offers Active Competence analyses either as an independent service, or in combination with LOID. An Active Competence analysis requires neither native speakers, nor dialect information.
Passive Competence
Passive Competence tests a person’s comprehension of a language as opposed to their active use of it.
Assessment of Language Analysis
Verified performs an assessment of an existing language analysis report previously carried out by a third party.
Assessment of Interpreting Performance
While assessment of interpreting performance may be a common quality assurance practice, there are relatively few actors on the market that provide such services.
Interview Technique
Verified provides tailored training in behavioural communication and analysis through three main packages, ranging from basic information to interview skills and techniques for future instructors.
